-How old do you have to be to enter the shop?
No one under age 16 is allowed in the shop. This is not our policy,
this is state law. This includes young children and infants. We can
not be liable for any hazards to young children. Due to the
sensitive and permanent nature of the work being done here, we need
to avoid any unexpected screams or other distractions an unaware
child may cause. We also want to avoid exposing children to any
imagery that parents may feel is inappropriate. No exceptions will
be made. We apologize for any inconvenience.
-How old do you have to be to get a piercing?
You must be 18 years old to obtain a piercing without the consent of
your legal guardian. Anyone caught using a fake ID will have the ID
confiscated. The minors parents will be held responsible for any
legal action taken by the city or state. Minors of 16 years or more
may receive certain piercings with the consent of their legal
guardian.
-I am between 16 and 18, what can I get pierced?
Any piercing other than genital. Minors may only get pierced with
the consent of a legal guardian. You must have a legal guardian
present at the time of the piercing. You both must bring state
issued picture ID cards. Our minor policies exist both to protect
our clientele and to uphold current laws. HFS 173.05 (1)(b) No
person under 18 years of age shall be body pierced unless that
person has an informed consent form signed by his or her parent or
legal guardian in the presence of the operator. (c) No person under
16 years of age shall be body pierced.
-How
old do you have to be to get a tattoo?
You must be at least 18 years of age to receive a tattoo. While the
State of Wisconsin allows a minor to receive a tattoo with a
physicians consent, we do not honor this practice. NO ONE under the
age of 18 will receive a tattoo from Point Blank Tattoo Tattoos.

-Does it hurt?
Everyone interprets pain differently.
-Do you reuse your needles?
No, every needle is disposed of after use on a client. Reusing
needles is unprofessional and poses a health risk.
-How do you sterilize your equipment?
Point Blank Tattoo uses a hospital grade autoclave and hospital
grade ultra-sonic cleaner to sterilize the equipment. Both tools are
regularly spore tested. The spore tests ensure that all living
micro-organisms are destroyed and equipment is sterile.
-How much does a tattoo cost?
We do not quote tattoo prices over the phone or e-mail. Please stop
in for a quote.
-Can I take the tattoo design home?
All designs are property of Point Blank Tattoo and the respective
owner(s). We do not allow designs to leave the shop.
-Are you licensed?
Each artist holds a practitioner license as required by the State of
Wisconsin.
